This variety is a cobnut (a type of hazelnut).
A large deciduous nut tree or shrub with broad green leaves. Pendulous catkins appear in spring, followed by large tasty nuts in autumn.
A neat little tree - hardy and low maintenance - ideal for any size of garden, growing to just 3 x 3m and can be pruned smaller.
A reliable nut with a superior flavour.
Also known as 'Lambert's Filbert' and 'Longue' cobnut.
Grow in full sun or partial shade in a sheltered spot.
